Overview

A contact in VYRAL’s Research Department, and the person behind Bullfrog’s secret side jobs. She first reached him anonymously in Session 1, paying in “reputation” rather than credits, to pull an NSMC-encrypted video file out of a Kessauer/K-Net system. In Session 3 she came back with “We need your help again” and gave her name only because Bullfrog’s Get the Job roll made the employer identifiable.

She’s terse and businesslike, and she expects results: “We’re keeping up our end of the bargain. You keep yours up.”

Known Facts

• Works in VYRAL’s Research Department, the same corp that commissioned Mara Sato’s theft of the NSMC data stick holding footage of the crew. Whether she personally is the VYRAL official who handed Mara the arcology keys is unknown.
• Calls Mara Sato “a missing courier of ours” and “our asset.”
• Current contract with Bullfrog: 300 credits for Mara’s location, due within 24 hours. “Just provide us her location, we’ll do the rest.”
• Promised to “help get your name out there too.” Within about half an hour a digital billboard was showing Bullfrog’s face and contact details under “Hire the best hacker in Knight City.”
• Checked in about four hours later demanding a status update, with “twenty hours remaining.” Bullfrog stalled her.

Relationships

• Bullfrog: her contractor. She pays him in fame, which is exactly what he wants. He hasn’t told the crew who she is or what she’s asked for.
• Mara Sato: VYRAL’s missing courier, and the target of the current contract.
• VYRAL: her employer.

• What does VYRAL Research want with Mara now: the data stick, her silence, or Mara herself?
• Is the Session 1 video file connected to the NSMC footage of the crew?

Appearances

• Session 1: An unnamed contact who opens an encrypted channel to Bullfrog and hires him to pull an NSMC-encrypted video. Identified as Jade Krasny in Session 3.
• Session 3: Names herself and hires Bullfrog in the middle of the rescue to report Mara Sato’s location within 24 hours. Pays in advance with a billboard.
